Every question a student sees has a doctor behind it.

No question reaches a student without a doctor's review. That is the whole point of the programme, and it is enforced in the product, not promised in a policy.

MedQuiz MBBS is a UKMLA revision platform built school by school. A doctor reads every item, amends it where it needs amending, and signs it off before any student can see it.

Reviewing is invite-only. If you have been invited, your invitation email contains a link to set your password.

A question as it appears in review.
Item 1 of 50UEA · Year 2 · Haematology
Written without a linked source. Check the underlying clinical point against a source you trust.

A 51-year-old woman attends her GP for routine follow-up. She was diagnosed with iron deficiency anaemia six weeks ago and started on ferrous sulphate 200 mg once daily. She has taken it consistently and tolerated it reasonably well, though her stools have been darker than usual. A repeat full blood count today shows her haemoglobin back within the normal range. She asks whether she can now stop the tablets.

AStop ferrous sulphate now, as the haemoglobin is within the normal range
BSwitch to parenteral iron now that the haemoglobin has normalised
CReduce to alternate days for two weeks, then stop
DContinue ferrous sulphate at the same dose for a further three monthsKeyed

What we ask of you

One batch at a time, from a single module at one year of one school, so the clinical context stays consistent while you work.

Fifty questions

Drawn from one module and one year group, with the pipeline's own concerns about each item shown before you judge it. Fifty is the standard batch. If you would rather take more, say so and we will assign a larger one.

Three weeks

At your own pace, in as many sittings as suit you, with progress saved as you go.

Amend, not only judge

Where wording is the problem, correct it and approve. We store the version you approved, so students read your words rather than ours.

How your sign-off is handled

Your name attaches to specific questions, not to the platform. Here is exactly what that means.

We record the exact version you approved

Not merely that you approved something.

A question you reject is withdrawn from students who already have it

Including saved notebooks and past exam results.

Every question you approve is recorded under your name as the reviewing clinician

A public profile is separate, optional, and can be withdrawn at any time.

Anything outside your scope goes for a second opinion

There is no expectation that you rule beyond your own practice.
